Tumbling

 Young Tumbling

(5 1/2 - 8 1/2 yrs old)

"Young Tumbling" classes are designed for kids 5 1/2 - 8 1/2 years old. Our tumbing classes use different floor surfaces, trumble tracks, trampolines, pits, and various types equipment to further the students progressions of skills. In the "Young Tumbling" classes students will continue to learn and work on tumbling skills, such as front and back rolls, handstands, cartwheels and round-offs, front and back walkovers, back handsprings, and round-off back handsprings.


Beginning Tumbling

(9 and up)

"Beginning Tumbling" classes are designed for kids 9 and up. Our tumbling classes use different floor surfaces, tumble tracks, trampolines, pits, and various types of equipment to further the students progressions of skills. Beginning tumbling is structured similiar to the young tumbling class but is taught at a little faster pace. The students will continue to learn and work on tumbling skills, such as handstands, cartwheels and round-offs, front and back walkovers, back handsprings, and round-off back handsprings.

Intermediate & Advanced

(9 and up)

"The Intermediate and Advanced Tumbling" classes are geared for students who have learned the tumbling basics and are ready to progress. In order to be in the intermediate class, students must have a standing back handspring and a round-off back handspring. The intermediate classes work on tucks and lay-outs. In the advanced tumbling classes students work on combination passes and twisting skills.

 What to Wear?

Boys and girls should wear active clothes that are easy to move in, such as a tank or  t-shirt and shorts. Girls should wear a sports bra under their T-Shirt. For general safety purposes be sure that long hair is pulled back in a ponytail, and no jewelry.
